1. Preparation For the installation You need the following materials: polyethylene foil with thickness of 0.2 mm., pad for noise insulation, distance wedges, wood block for hitting, pulling clamp, saw, hammer (minimum 500 g), pencil, folding meter, glue (for pipes of heating installation) and groove. Opened parquets to be used immediately! Laminated flooring is installed floatingly. It must not be glued or nailed over the base or to be fixed in other way (for example by door stop). As the wood expands, in dependence of room’s size, distance of 12-15 mm. between panels and walls or stationary elements (for example pipes of heating installation, door frames) must be left. The most appropriate temperature for mounting is minimum 18 °С in the room and 15 °С near the floor. Air humidity must be 50-70 %. The base must be absolutely even, stable, dry, clean and solid. Roughness of the floor with more than 3 mm. on 1 meter must be burnished and puttied.

2. Moisture is insulated as firstly polyethylene foil is put with its ends bent upwards Stripes must be put at 20 centimeters one from another and to be fixed with scotch tape. This is in force only for floors with cement putty. For insulation of noise is used special foam-plastic pad for example K-floor-PE-Schaumfolie. The stripes are laid in the same direction as the panels. Laminated floorings S.A.S. or Akustiq with built in noise insulation are mounted without this special pad.

3. Recommendation: Panels must be laid longitudinally towards main source of light. In installation over floor heating attention must be paid to special instructions which you will receive in the shop, from where you can buy laminated flooring (Cement putty: maximum 2 % remaining humidity, anhydrite putty: maximum 0.2 % remaining humidity). Between separate rooms and in premises with length or width more than 8 meters transitional mexes must be left in order to compensate expansion.

4. Prior to mounting, the width of last row of panels must be calculated exactly, it must be at least 50 mm. In a case that the calculated value is lower, the first row can not be started with intact panel, and the width of the same must be decreased in accordance with compulsory minimum width of the last row. In the calculation must also be included the distance of 15 mm. to each wall. The first panel is laid with the groove towards the wall. The necessary stretch (12-15 mm.) is fixed with distance wedges. In walls with side diversion, it is marked on the first row of panels with distance wedge. According to this marking panels must be cut longitudinally.

5. Panels are laid according to the predetermined order. The second row starts with half a panel. The long side of the panel is put in and the short one is carefully adjusted with a hammer and wood block.

6. For cutting of the last panel in the row it is tuned to 180 ° and is put with its uppermost part upwards (groove to groove). Distance to the wall must be taken into consideration in relation to the front side. The panel is marked and cut. If electrical saws are used, the side with the decoration is put downward in order to prevent harming of edges. With other kinds of saws, parquet’s uppermost part can be cut.

7. After third row, installation is realized as is shown on the scheme. Each new row starts with the piece of the previous one (minimum length of 20 centimeters). Cross joints from one to another row must be exchanged with at least 40 centimeters. The last panel to be put in carefully with pulling clamp.

8. Around pipes of heating installation or stationary furniture opening must be cut so that they are 3 cm. bigger that pipes’ diameter. You must cut V- shaped "adjusting piece", glue it, and fix it with a wedge until the glue hardens. Afterwards You must cover the opening with rosettes for radiators.

1. Mounting of laminated flooring – free of charge.
a) Gratuitous installation includes only laying of pad and laminated flooring. Mounting of skirting-boards is paid.
b) Gratuitous mounting is only for objects located in the city of Sofia.
c) Free fitting is for objects with regular geometric forms.
d) Gratuitous mounting is for standard laying of laminated flooring / with no figures, diagonals, stairs, walls and ceilings /.
e) Gratuitous fitting is for area with size not less than 11 m2.
f) Free installation is realized only after presentation of Card for free mounting issued by SPACE’s shops.
g) Gratuitous mounting over uneven and wet bases is realized only after signing of protocol by the Client.
h) Gratuitous mounting is valid for 60 days from date of buying.
i) Free mounting: It is realized up to 10 working days after order on the telephone, which is pointed out in the card.
1. Other
a) Mounting of skirting boards is at prices shown in the shop or price list.
b) View of the object is realized at stipulation and preliminary order in SPACE’s shops.
c) Card for free mounting must be kept until the finishing of the object.
d) Card for gratuitous installation must be shown to fitters before they start work and to be given to them after object’s finishing.
e) Sale of laminated flooring and accessories in SPACE’s shops is realized on the grounds of the quantity, wanted by the client - / we do no make calculations on drawings and measures brought by the client/.
f) Conditions for fitting for an object where laminated flooring will be put at 2-3 times are coordinated and negotiated with the person responsible for installation group.

2. Transportation
a) Transportation to objects in the city of Sofia - 18 ;24 ;36 lv. b) In transportation price is included assistance only for unloading in front of the entrance of the residential building / we do not realize bringing up of goods/.

3. Important!!!

a) We do not realize cutting of doors, fitting and dismantlement of linoleum, moquette, carpenter’s services, cleaning of objects, laying of putties, carrying of furniture, other operations, which are not specified in firm’s price list.
b) In length / width of the room over 10 linear meters and in shape of the room with length of the side over 2 linear meters, crossing of laminated flooring with strip is necessary in order to provide technical joint, if not having it laminated floorings swells out.
c) Putty must be with no dust and roughnesses, displacement up to 2-3 mm. per m2.
d) Doors’ installation must be finished because of specificity of laminated flooring’s laying around doors’ frames.
e) Prior to mounting laminated flooring must stay in the room minimum 24 hours in order to acclimatize and take room’s specific humidity.
f) Make safe legs of tables, chairs, sofas and heavier furniture.
g) Place door mats / mud catchers in front of home’s entrance.
h) Clean laminated flooring only with preparations produced for this purpose.

In STATEMENT OF ACCEPTANCE it is explicitly stressed that the firm takes claims on mounting only at object’s acceptance with Contractor and Client present.

Dear ladies and gentlemen ,
Parquets Space most politely asks You to get acquainted with requirements for quality, preservation, laying and maintenance of massive parquets – Bulgarian and imported (exotic) which we offer. We recommend You in parquet’s buying to accept it according to the requirements of well – established Bulgarian and international standards.
Main parameters used for parquet’s qualification are described in price lists.
Parquet’s acceptance is realized as follows:
• control quality check – up to 5 % of consignment
• control humidity check – up to 10 boards of consignment
Number of boards not covering quality description can not be more than 3 %.
We ask you to present claims and comments at the moment of goods’ acceptance, so we can opportunely take care for satisfaction of Your wishes.
In loading, transportation and unloading parquet boards must be kept from wetting, pollution and mechanical damages. They are preserved in dry and airy rooms with air temperature between 15 and 20 °С and air humidity 40-60 %. After buying, leave parquet for two weeks in the room where it will be laid.
To have high quality parquet floor, we recommend You to use qualified specialists. We advise You to take their recommendations made after room’s view into consideration and to take decision for the appropriate way of mounting. Base over which parquet will be laid must be sufficiently solid, dry, even and not to have cracks. Before parquet’s installation it must be cleaned, and if necessary to be primed. Base’s humidity must not exceed the established norms, measured in depth with hygrometer.

Main reasons which lead to ungluing and raising of parquet are:
• weak and poor quality base
• too damp base and high air humidity in the room

Pipes of heating installation should pass at the end, next to room’s walls or deep inside the base.
Prior to parquet’s mounting window joinery and water installation must be checked, as eventual drippings are removed. All wet processes (putting of terracotta, ground coat, latex and other) must be finished. It is possible after parquet’s fitting to lay final paint on the walls.
At the time of installation room’s temperature must not be lower than 15 °С. Air humidity must be between 40 – 60 %. We recommend You to glue parquet to the floor as for this purpose special glues are used.
In mounting of parquet – type wooden floor we recommend laying of plywood or OSB as the installation is realized over them. When using water glues, time that must pass by before scraping is longer (15-20 days) until parquet reaches its normal humidity (9±2%). Do not scrape and lacquer parquet before at least two weeks after its mounting pass by. During this period in any case do not use nylon covers for protecting parquet’s surface. After last grinding, before polishing, parquet must be cleaned very well from the remaining dust.
After lacquer’s laying it is recommendable the room to remain closed for 24 hours and its putting into exploitation to be after 48 hours. In temperature 17-23°С and air humidity 44-55 % Your parquet will have irreproachable behavior. Negative influence can be exercised by abrupt change in the temperature or humidity of the room.
In parquet’s maintenance special attention must be given to timely removal of small particles (grains of sand, glasses, and pebbles) which damage lacquer cover. It is recommended to do this action regularly with a vacuum cleaner, after that the surface is cleaned with wet cloth and special preparation for parquet. If You spill liquids over the parquet, absorb with cloth. Put door mat in front of room’s door to minimize the risk of bringing in of grains of sand and water which in combination destroy parquet’s surface layer. Put protectors on furniture’s legs.

MOST IMPORTANT REASONS WHICH LEAD TO PROBLEMS WITH PARQUET’S MOUNTING
• Incorrect parquet’s preservation
• Installation of parquets by non-qualified persons
• Damp base
• Weak and poor quality base
• Uneven base
• Inappropriate temperature and air humidity
• Abrupt temperature change in the room, excessive cold or drying by high temperature
• Fitting in rooms with floor heating without consultation with specialists
• In polishing, if this has happened in first 10 hours after the installation
• Wet processed after parquet’s installing, incongruous finishing works
• Floor’s exploitation before expiring of necessary technological time for lacquer’s drying

Drying depends on factors such as room’s heating, airing and additional materials in the flooring. If parquet’s mounting is imposed before the flooring has reached the required value of drying, chemical materials for insulation must be used (HYGROSTOP).
